Plenty of V6 power; excellent warranty; rigid chassis; comfortable road manners
For 2011, Hyundai's full-size sedan receives added power from its choice of two V6 engines. The 3.3L found in the GLS has been boosted from 234 hp to 260 hp. The 3.8L unit in the Limited is up 20 hp to 283 hp. Both engines benefit from Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (DCVVT), and the result is not just added power, but added fuel efficiency as well. Hyundai has also introduced a new 6-speed automatic transmission to pair up with the powerplants. Outside, the Azera gets a new front fascia, with restyled headlights and fog lights, plus a new chrome grille. The rear bumper is new as well. Interior changes are minimal, though the use of grained aluminum has been added to the center console.
