V8 twin-turbo performance; supercar design; luxurious interior options; industry-leading infotainment displays
Celebrating 50 years of a historical partnership between Mercedes and AMG the GT is refreshed sporting a familiar twin turbo V8 engine with some extra ponies under the hood producing anywhere between 469 to 577 horsepower depending on the model. For 2019, the lineup expands to include the GT Roadster, GT C Coupe, GT C Roadster and the GT R Coupe. The front end of all trims is revamped with a bold Panamericana grille sporting 15 chrome-plated bars designed to resemble the AMG GT3 race car. Larger inlets with active louvres up front also give the vehicle supercar-like characteristics providing more front downforce at speed as well as added cooling by automatically diverting air to the radiator and heat exchangers when necessary.
