The 2020 Land Rover Range Rover: More Than a Pretty Face

Changes are afoot for Land Rover. The vehicle manufacturer is adding its Ingenium mild-hybrid inline-six-cylinder engine to its 2020 vehicle line up. Not only is the company adding it, but it is also making the engine its standard offering. Along with the engine switch up, the company recently updated the exterior of the model with a sleek front end, a new look for the taillights and new wheels.

The Range Rover has always been a distinctive vehicle, and now it is available with several distinctive engines. Along with the Ingenium turbocharged 3.0-liter engine that produces 355 horsepower, buyers have the option of upgrading their Rover with a more powerful six-cylinder engine that generates 395 horsepower. A turbo-diesel 3.0-liter V-6 is also available. This engine gets 254 horsepower. A plug-in hybrid that partners the vehicle’s electric motors with a turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder that gets 398 horsepower is another option. For consumers who need more power, Land Rover is offering a V-8 engine. This one produces a whopping 518 horsepower.

Inside the Range Rover, few expenses were spared with leather upholstery and comfortable console materials. The interior design is sleek with buttons and knobs conveniently located and easy to use. Amenities include 20-inch, 21-inch or 22-inch alloy wheels depending on the package. Range Rover buyers will also get things like a panoramic sunroof, 16-way power seats that feature a memory function and an amazing Meridian audio system. The cargo section is spacious with plenty of room for luggage, landscaping plants or small to midsize pieces of furniture.

When going with a Land Rover, most people are interested in taking the vehicle off-road. Because of this, buyers may want to consider upgrading theirs with the company’s Off-Road package. This option adds the vehicle manufacturer’s All-Terrain Progress Control system to the SUV along with Adaptive Dynamics and the awesome Terrain Response 2 system. It also comes with a high/low range transfer case.

Land Rover is offering new paint colors with the Range Rover. The new 2020 colors are Eiger Grey and Portofino Blue. High-gloss black 22-inch wheels are an option for buyers who prefer this type of styling. The vehicle’s exterior is unique. Those who bring home a Land Rover Range Rover will be able to find their SUV in the parking lot easily. With an aggressive front end and boxy midsection, the Land Rover is attractive.

SUV buyers who want a luxurious ride combined with the rough and tough practicality of a genuine off-road vehicle will be pleased with the 2020 Land Rover Range Rover. This is a vehicle that is more than a pretty face. It has the goods to tear down dirt roads, up slick rock and through mud ponds.
